A Canadian infielder is on the move to the Mile High City.
The Colorado Rockies have acquired Edouard Julien from the Minnesota Twins.
Right-handed pitcher Pierson Ohl is also going to the Rockies in the trade, with right-handed pitching prospect Jace Kaminska going back to the Twins.
Julien, a Quebec City native, has appeared in 267 MLB games with the Twins over the last three seasons. A second baseman, Julien has hit 27 home runs, 35 doubles and collected 70 RBIs in his career.
Ohl made his MLB debut in 2025. Kaminska is recovering from Tommy John surgery and pitched in low-A in 2024.
